I went through Oracle on campus and the interview was split into two main technical rounds.

The first round leaned heavily on core concepts, so I had to be solid on fundamentals rather than just advanced tricks.

The second round included a DFS-based problem and also dug deeper into my projects. That combination made the round feel like they wanted to see both how I worked with graph-style thinking and how I articulated what I’d built.

I didn’t make it through, and the main reflection I had was that I should have focused more on the fundamental DSA concepts during the project discussion rather than assuming the project work would carry the technical weight.
