My first step was an HR conversation with normal questions—nothing unusual, just the typical background and motivation style discussion.

After that, I had a technical round where the focus was also behavioral rather than deep technical problem solving. I answered everything I could and felt like my responses were solid.

Even so, I wasn’t selected, and what made it feel off was how random it seemed—like the decision didn’t connect to how the interview actually went. There wasn’t much clarity beyond that, so the end of the process felt unpredictable rather than earned through a clear scoring of my performance.
