I started with an HR call that scheduled a telephonic interview, but there was a lot of back-and-forth because the interviewer didn’t join at the first scheduled time.

After rescheduling twice, I finally connected.

The HR interview itself was mostly theoretical. I was asked a set of questions and had to explain my thinking clearly. I managed to answer everything except a single question, and that one miss carried a lot of weight. The rejection followed soon after.

It was a short process compared to many of the others I’d heard about, and the part that stuck with me was how dependent the result was on one gap—especially after the delay and rescheduling that already threw my timing off.
