OpenTable Software Engineer interview experience

After that, communication completely stalled—I didn’t hear back for over a week and a half, so I emailed the recruiter for an update on my application status.

Nothing came after that either. The whole experience felt disrespectful because there was no follow-up or clear notification, even after I reached out personally. It made the process feel dismissive rather than professional.

I never received an offer. The main thing I took away was that the lack of basic candidate communication made it hard for me to consider the company seriously afterward.
