After an initial recruiter conversation, I went into a longer second round that included both a presentation and deeper follow-ups.

In my case, the presentation was about a subject I selected, and I presented for around 10 minutes. That part was followed by a more general discussion where we covered my prior employment and how my background fit the role.

What stood out was the tone shift: the later portion felt more relaxed and leaned toward a general chat rather than a high-pressure interview. The earlier screening had been straightforward—mostly getting aligned on how I found OneTrust, what I wanted from the opportunity, and walking through my resume—then it moved right into the heavier format.

I didn’t get an offer.
