OOKG·Backend Engineer

OKG Backend Engineer interview experience

SeniorPosted Jun 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My first round was a LeetCode-style coding question, and it felt pretty straightforward at the start.

I got a Combination Sum problem, and the interviewer was friendly and easy to talk to, which lowered the pressure. The whole thing was focused on fundamentals of the coding approach rather than heavy theory.

After I worked through the Combination Sum prompt, that was it for the round—no long detour into unrelated topics. The tone was supportive, and the main surprise was how specifically the question matched what I expected to see from LeetCode practice. Overall, it left me feeling like the process was testing whether I could translate that style of problem into a correct solution quickly.
