NVIDIA Software Engineer interview experience

I was given 120 minutes for a qualification coding test that covered multiple problem types—bit manipulation, algorithms, string operations, and an intermediate sliding window challenge.

The rules were explicit about not using tools like AI, and not copy-pasting, since that would be treated as cheating. I remember feeling that the test was designed to probe both breadth and efficiency, not just one familiar coding pattern.

I didn’t pass that qualification stage, and the process stopped there.
