I interviewed for a systems validation role in Santa Clara, and the conversation started with broad questions about my background.

As we moved along, it shifted gradually into more technical territory—validation methodologies and how I approached debugging.

The technical portion felt like it was testing whether I could translate general experience into a clear validation mindset, not just talk about tools in isolation. The difficulty landed around average: there was enough substance to take seriously, but it didn’t feel like a puzzle designed only to fail.

In the end, I didn’t get an offer, even though the discussion itself stayed fairly smooth as it progressed.
