NVIDIA Embedded Engineer interview experience

Several of them were basic algorithms like bubble sort and merge sort.

What made the session stand out was the embedded-flavored hardware/logic work. I had to work on building a “NOR” using an optimal number of NAND gates, and then there was a Verilog task where I needed to detect a rising-edge pulse—so the output had to be a pulse on every rising edge. The last part felt especially heavy: a very difficult C programming task where the problem statement itself took me about 5–6 minutes just to read and understand, and I still had to complete a specific function from there.
