Santa Clara, CAPosted Apr 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

The interview felt solid and focused, with questions centered on low-speed I/O.

We talked through the differences between SPI, I2C, and I3C, and I also got asked how to debug signals using an oscilloscope—explicitly contrasting what shows up as “high speed” versus “low speed” behavior.

There were even references to actual I2C signal readings, which made it more concrete than just definitions. Overall, it felt like an average-difficulty conversation: not trivial, but clearly grounded in practical debugging and how interfaces behave.

I finished the interview without feeling completely lost, but I wasn’t selected for the role.
