NVIDIA Software Engineer interview experience

One of them was a range-covering problem: given a sorted array of unique integers, I had to return the smallest sorted list of disjoint ranges that exactly cover every number, outputting each range in the required “a->b” (or just “a” for singletons) format.

The rest of the round felt similarly structured—hands-on coding rather than a wide survey of topics. The overall difficulty was easy from a workflow standpoint, but the prompt itself still required careful handling of boundaries and formatting rules.

I completed the interview smoothly, but I didn’t receive an offer.
