Nutanix Software Engineer interview experience

The first round was pure DSA with problems built around binary search—one of the tasks involved finding an IP address within a specified range and then mapping it to the name of a city tied to that range.

The second round was more techno-managerial, and it was mostly about my project experience. That shift from algorithmic thinking to explaining what I’d built and how I worked on it made the process feel balanced.

I didn’t get an offer. Even so, I appreciated that the questions were clear and directly tied to specific skill areas rather than vague “general interview” prompts.
