Nutanix Software Engineer interview experience

After the initial HR chat, there were three technical rounds that mainly focused on Linux, compute, storage, and networking. The interviews were deep enough to feel like they were covering practical engineering areas rather than surface-level knowledge.

Then there was a manager round that checked both work experience and behavior. That final stage felt more reflective, tying the earlier systems-heavy questioning back to how I’d performed and collaborated in the past.

I didn’t receive an offer. Still, the structure was clear, and I had a good sense of what areas were being prioritized.
