I wrote the OA and then got to go through the screening step.

The interviewer seemed impressed when I talked through my thinking, and the screen felt like it went reasonably well. I was also happy to learn more about the company through the conversation, since I got a clearer picture of where my strengths were and where I still needed to improve.

I didn’t make it to the next round, though. The most memorable part for me was that the screening gave some useful signal, even if it didn’t lead to further interviews.
