I went through a phone screen and then an on-site interview, followed later by a second on-site.

After the first on-site, my impression was that they were struggling to find the right role or match for me, which made the process feel a little uncertain.

Communication delays added to that disappointment. Even though the technical rounds were part of a normal hiring sequence, the follow-through after the first on-site took longer than I expected, which made the whole experience feel drawn out and a bit unclear.
