I first got a phone call to schedule an interview, then I spoke with an engineer on the phone.

The engineer asked behavioral questions connected to company values.

What was notable was how confident the engineer sounded. He told me he’d be recommending me for the position, and he even shared that anyone he recommended had received an internship offer.

Difficulty-wise it felt very easy, and the tone was encouraging rather than demanding. I remember feeling like the conversation was focused on values and fit, and the engineer’s confidence made the process feel positive.
