San Francisco, CAPosted Mar 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

After a recruiter call, I had about a one-hour technical screen with the hiring manager, and then the schedule switched into take-home mode.

The take-home was significantly more time-consuming than what I expected—it ran well past the four hours I’d initially estimated for myself.

When I finished, I moved into a domain technical round, followed by a system design discussion, and then the process ended with a CEO round. Feedback came back quickly after each step, usually within a day or two, which I appreciated. The rounds all felt demanding, and despite making it through the sequence, I didn’t end up with an offer.
