On site, my interview began with a brief talk about my research, and then I got to talk with the PI and lab members.

The day included a chance to see the lab facilities and instruments, so it wasn’t only discussion—it had that tangible “here’s how the work happens” side to it.

In my experience, it turned into a research presentation lasting about 45 minutes, followed by meetings with several PIs and lab members where I answered both scientific questions and more personal questions.
