I made progress through multiple rounds for a Software Engineer role, but the final stage was paused, leaving the process unresolved.

Recruiter initial call — I was contacted and interviewed, progressing to additional rounds.
Second round — further review of my profile.
Third round — a deeper check of my background and academic details.
Role status update — shortly after the third round, I was told the role was on hold and they’d follow up later. Outcome: No offer reported; the takeaway is that even after strong engagement, internal timing changes can stop momentum.
