My interview for the software engineer role was centered heavily on core Java.

In the first technical discussion, I got questions about Java and also the Java MVC flow, and they asked about my projects—what I had worked on and how I’d approached them.

SQL basics also came up during the same phase, and I remember being expected to explain concepts clearly rather than just give one-line answers. Overall the experience felt fairly average in difficulty, and I did walk away with an offer. I was relieved because my project explanations lined up well with what they probed.
