My Newgen interview happened as a one-day process, and it moved quickly through two rounds.

I first had a technical round where I was asked two simple coding questions plus a puzzle. It was all framed in a very approachable way, and I felt like they wanted to see basic problem-solving more than complicated algorithms.

Then I moved to the HR round, which was focused on general conversation—introductions and personal background style questions like strengths and goals. The tone was straightforward and normal.

In the technical discussion, I remember doing a matrix multiplication problem fast, then running the program with different inputs while the interviewer watched my approach.
