My process started normally enough with a recruiter screening and then conversations that moved toward a case interview with executives.

At first, things felt promising, but the experience quickly turned uncomfortable—people inside the company said negative things about their leadership situation, which made the whole dynamic awkward and heavy to sit through while I was trying to evaluate whether I wanted to join.

Even after the case interview ended, communication fell apart. I followed up, but nothing came back, and I eventually realized I was being ghosted. That didn’t just frustrate me; it made me think about the way they’d treat customers, since the same behavior showed up in the candidate experience.
