My interview ended up being a long, heavy process built around a case study and a presentation.

I had two interviewers from the relevant team, and the questions were competency-based overall.

Before I went in, they sent a guide for how to answer competency questions, which helped set expectations. The presence of the case study plus the presentation meant I wasn’t just responding to prompts—I had to structure my thinking and communicate it clearly under time pressure.

It was definitely difficult in terms of duration and the amount I had to prepare to discuss. I didn’t get an offer, but the guidance they provided for the competency questions made it feel more deliberate than chaotic.
