My online interview on Zoom immediately felt different from the start.

It wasn’t just a normal conversation with a couple of interviewers—it felt more like an interrogation, with four people on the call. I was overwhelmed by how many questions I was asked from multiple angles, and it became hard to build any rapport because there was basically no space to settle into a conversation.

The lack of structure stood out to me the most. I felt like most of the interviewers didn’t seem prepared, and the questions leaned heavily toward technical and competency-based areas without a clear flow. Compared to other interviews I’d done, it was one of the worst experiences
