Network Rail Software Engineer interview experience

The interview itself was held on Microsoft Teams, and I spoke with three members of the team.

The experience was fairly straightforward in terms of how it was run: a multi-person panel rather than one interviewer, with enough structure to keep the conversation focused. I left with the impression that I’d covered the main areas they expected.

Even so, I wasn’t offered the role. What I remember most is that the timeline after applying felt reasonably paced, and the panel format made it clear they were evaluating fit from multiple perspectives.
