The process I went through started with recruiter outreach and a structured sequence that moved from conversation to tests to back-to-back interviews.

First I had an HR-style recruiting interview, then another HR conversation, and once I cleared those I was given a quick test. A couple weeks later, I was assigned a bigger, more complex task that ended up being a weekend effort—enough to build a small web application—and when that was complete, I waited a few more weeks while the developers were busy.

Eventually I landed in a final interview sequence: three interviews in a row, about an hour each. The first was more social with HR, and the next two were technical, including a lead developer discussion and a product architect conversation.
