Netflix Software Engineer interview experience

The conversation itself was straightforward, and it didn’t feel adversarial.

But it didn’t work out because the team was specifically looking for a particular skill that I didn’t have. So even though I cleared that first filter, I wasn’t a fit for what they needed at the time.

I didn’t get an offer, and the rejection felt more like a capability mismatch than any performance issue.
