My recruiter conversation felt pretty standard, like it was meant to confirm basics and align expectations.

The recruiter asked the usual set of topics—an elevator-pitch style walkthrough of projects I’d worked on, how I handled cross-functional dynamics, and experience with specific libraries. We also covered pay expectations and why I was interested in Netflix.

It didn’t feel adversarial or overly technical, just well framed. I genuinely enjoyed it because it stayed human and conversational.

I didn’t end up getting an offer from that process, but the recruiter stage itself felt like a positive start—clean, organized, and not wasting time.
