When I got scheduled, the logistics were simple: I received an email from the recruiter, picked a time, joined with very little small talk, and then shared my screen.

The interview focused on me walking through my process while the interviewer interrupted with questions as I went.

The main texture of it was that it wasn’t a “light” conversation—it was immediately practical. I could feel that they wanted to see how I think under pressure: how I structure the solution, how I talk through tradeoffs, and how I respond when the question changes mid-stream.

I left the call feeling like I’d shown my reasoning, but the overall difficulty and the way the questions landed made it clear the bar wasn’t low.
