Posted Jul 2020 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interview process was built to evaluate both technical skill and whether I could fit into Netflix’s culture.

It started with an initial recruiter phone screen, then moved to a conversation with the hiring manager and a technical interview.

After that, the pace increased into team interviews—six interviews total, including one that felt more logistical and another with HR. Then there was a director-level stage with three additional interviews.

I ended up receiving an offer. The reflection I’d give myself is that the process was demanding and wide-ranging, but it was also consistent in what it wanted: strong technical thinking and the ability to operate in their culture.
