Seattle, WAPosted Jul 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

The process felt pretty standard for a big tech company, but the interview delivery didn’t match the level of polish I expected.

I found that some interviewers seemed unprepared, and that made the technical discussion harder than it needed to be.

The biggest issue was that they didn’t always carry the problem forward within the allotted time, and they weren’t always able to guide the conversation toward what they wanted to evaluate. Even when I could follow the technical topic, the lack of forward momentum added unnecessary stress.

I ended up rejected, and what I remember most wasn’t the difficulty of the material—it was the mismatch between how the interview was supposed to run and how it actually played out.
