The process moved in a pretty straightforward order: first a recruiter call, then a hiring-manager conversation, and then a technical screen.

For the recruiter step, I remember it being clear I should be familiar with the company’s values page, and the call felt like they wanted to confirm that directly.

The technical work started on a platform with a coding challenge. I used JavaScript for the online screen, and the later recruiter-driven screen featured a LeetCode-style problem at a med-to-hard level. A lot of the time pressure and difficulty really showed up there, and I felt less ready than I’d like. I didn’t make it far enough to fully translate my background into solutions, and I couldn’t recover from that gap.
