Los Gatos, CAPosted Aug 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interview was pretty standard and leaned heavily on LeetCode-style coding plus system design.

The expectations were simple in spirit: code quickly with only a few mistakes, and be able to talk through system design clearly.

A recurring theme was edge cases. It wasn’t enough to have a solution that mostly worked—I could feel they cared about the small details that might break in real conditions.

I ended up getting an offer, and the experience felt smooth enough that it didn’t seem like I was being ambushed by unexpected formats.
