My experience was entirely teleconferenced and happened in English, starting with a recruiter call by phone and then moving into a technical interview right after.

The HR conversation focused on my general experience and then went deeper into a few companies I’d worked with, which felt like they were trying to understand the context of my background.

On the technical side, they asked for deeper Java programming details. I remember being asked to elaborate on a function and then analyze how to improve performance of a solution I presented. It wasn’t just about correctness—it was about thinking through efficiency and tradeoffs.

The whole experience felt cordial and professional, especially compared to horror stories I’d heard about technical panels.
