My interview felt almost like a lightweight experience compared to what I expected.

There was just one coding question that was relatively easy, and I remember making a few small mistakes. When I asked how it went, they told me my interview was good.

Despite that, I ended up rejected in the end. It was a bit ironic because the feedback right after the session sounded encouraging, while the final decision didn’t.

Overall, the difficulty was marked as average, but the bigger emotional contrast was between “it went well” during the conversation and the eventual result. I didn’t get an offer, and that disconnect was what stuck with me the most.
