NetApp Software Engineer interview experience

The interviewer came across as arrogant and wouldn’t accept my answers outright, even when I felt confident in the reasoning. The topics covered a pretty wide range of C++ and DSA, including tree and algorithms questions.

It was hard to stay focused because the interaction itself felt dismissive. Instead of a normal back-and-forth where you can explore, it felt like the conversation was set up to reject what I said.

I walked away with a bad impression and no offer. Even though the technical content was familiar, the overall attitude made the experience feel more painful than challenging.
