What surprised me was how much of the early work they did before pulling in senior technical interviewers.

They focused heavily on non-technical due diligence up front, and only after that did they bring in the senior resources to really grill me on the technical side.

Even though I knew many people there, the process still felt thorough—they took their time to determine whether I was a fit for both the company and the job. I ended up getting an offer, and the overall feeling was less like a quick screening and more like they were intentionally trying to reduce risk before committing.
