NetApp Software Engineer interview experience

The first round was pen-and-paper, with puzzles plus some basic DSA questions.

The second round was coding-focused. I was asked a LeetCode hard problem, and I felt lucky in the sense that the interviewer was helpful, which allowed me to get to the optimal solution. The final stage was an HR round that was basically a conversation, so it didn’t feel like a high-stakes grilling.

Overall, the experience ended with me getting an offer. What I valued most was how I could actually demonstrate progress through the steps, and how the interviewers’ tone in the coding round helped me stay on track.
