United States2020 interview · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

For the Summer 2020 SDE Intern role, my process was built around on-call coding questions across three rounds, each run by three engineers.

The first two rounds focused on linked list work and then a simpler array-related problem.

The last round shifted toward a more technical-managerial style discussion. I remember finishing the coding rounds feeling like I was on the right track, and the final round felt more like it tested how I thought through problems rather than just whether I could implement them. The result was an offer, and the whole sequence felt balanced rather than overly punishing.
