I had a pretty exhausting day-long process that started with a recruiter introduction call and then a manager call that was more of a casual discussion about the role.

After that, I had three technical interviews: one that covered DSA plus topics like OS and multi-threading, another that mixed system design thinking with puzzles, and a final DSA round. It took the whole day, and by the time I finished, I felt like I’d put in real effort.

What soured it was how the offer experience went. The interviewer who delivered the end result was flat-out rude from the start—no basic pleasantries—and the offer didn’t feel respectful, especially given that I’d already spoken with them earlier. I also felt like they didn’t properly acknowledge that first conversation
