I got referred to the role and went through the interview stages, but after the final interview I was completely left hanging.

I never heard back from the recruiter or anyone on the team, and there wasn’t even a simple rejection email.

What made it feel so bad was that I’d already invested time into reaching the end of the process. Once the final step passed, communication just disappeared.

I didn’t receive an offer. Looking back, the lack of closure was the hardest part, because it felt like they didn’t value my time enough to provide even basic updates.
