Bangalore RuralPosted Nov 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My timeline started with a telephonic screening, followed by a technical round, and then a round with managers.

The interviews went well enough that I expected things to progress, but once the manager stage ended, the follow-up went completely quiet.

HR effectively ghosted. I followed up by email and received a response saying my candidacy was on hold and that I’d hear back the next day—then the silence repeated. It was frustrating because the uncertainty wasn’t coming from anything I’d done wrong in the conversations; it was coming from the lack of updates afterward. By the time it became clear I wasn’t getting any communication, it felt less like a competitive process and more like a stalled one.
