My hiring process didn’t take forever in calendar time, but it did involve multiple stages that made it feel drawn out.

In my case it took about 25 days, and the interview itself was described as a bit tricky.

Most of the questions came from basics, which helped me stay steady, but the bigger surprise was simply how many rounds I went through. The overall feel was that the content wasn’t beyond reach, yet the repeated filtering increased the pressure.

I ended up getting an offer, and the reflection I’m left with is that the difficulty came more from the marathon of rounds than from any one brutally hard technical moment.
