I went through an early part of the hiring flow that started with a simple introduction, then moved into technical interviews, and finally into an HR discussion.

The overall pacing felt like they wanted to validate both fundamentals and how I communicated while working through questions.

After the initial call, I had a telephonic round and then a technical round where the questions were based on my background—things like database concepts and DSA-style knowledge, plus general programming fundamentals. The final stage was more of a discussion where they followed up on fit and aligned on what the role would require.

What surprised me was how much the process relied on staged evaluation: move forward step-by-step, and only then go to the next format.
