I had a conversation that included something that caught me off guard: I was asked to share my screen and walk through code tied to a project I’d worked on, right on the interview day itself.

What made it awkward was that it wasn’t clear beforehand that I needed to prepare for that format, so I didn’t feel as ready as I would’ve liked when the time came.

After the technical part, the process dragged a bit on the coordination side. The HR follow-up felt slow, and it made the waiting period more frustrating than the interview itself. I ended up not moving forward, and what stayed with me wasn’t the difficulty of the questions—it was the lack of clarity about logistics and the delayed communication afterward.
