I was scheduled for a coding paper before the interview, and I had about an hour to complete it.

After finishing, I met the project manager who ran the interview. The way it felt was surprisingly open—she treated it like a real conversation and was willing to look at other aspects of my profile even though I was new.

The questions weren’t described as unusually difficult; the tone was supportive rather than adversarial. I appreciated that the interview wasn’t only focused on whether I had everything immediately, but more on giving a fair chance to start somewhere. The whole experience felt smooth and encouraging, more about potential than testing me to failure.
