NCS Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

Medium

Negative

SingaporePosted Jun 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

This interview was the kind that threw me off immediately and never really recovered.

It was a long, high-pressure technical session with two interviewers, and they asked technical questions for about two and a half hours. The time commitment alone felt extreme.

The atmosphere was the worst part for me: one interviewer came across as hostile, to the point where it felt like the questions were designed to expose that I didn’t know something, rather than explore my reasoning. I also remember being frustrated by how the salary expectations weren’t handled transparently.

By the end, I didn’t get an offer, and I left convinced it was one of the most negative interview experiences
