NCR Corporation Software Engineer interview experience

My experience was surprisingly light on coding pressure.

The technical portion asked very easy programming problems and also covered basic Java knowledge plus behavioral questions and general questions about NCR. The questions were flexible enough that I was allowed to answer in any language I wanted, which made the process feel less intimidating.

Even though the technical screening itself was easy, the hiring experience didn’t end cleanly in the end. I later accepted an offer for a Java Spring Boot role, gave the requested two weeks notice, and then the offer was rescinded. That part was unsettling and put me in a difficult spot afterward.
