NCR Corporation Software Engineer interview experience

The overall difficulty felt fairly light, and I remember the process leaning much more toward soft skills than technical depth.

During the manager round, the focus was mostly on experience and education—what I had done before and how I fit into the kind of work they were describing. The HR round continued that theme and felt more about alignment than coding.

There wasn’t a lot of heavy technical questioning in my experience, which made it feel approachable. I didn’t get an offer, but it still felt like a respectful process centered on fit rather than trying to trip me up technically.
