I went into a panel interview where the questions felt like they made sense and weren’t designed to be trick questions.

They landed in that middle zone—not too difficult but not easy either.

One thing I appreciated was that I received feedback while I was still interviewing, and the panel didn’t feel intimidating at all. It made it easier to stay focused because the process felt more interactive than confrontational.

I didn’t get an offer, but I left with a better sense of how I was doing than in many interviews. The honest reflection I had afterward was that the tone helped, even though I still didn’t progress.
